Happy Earth Day

Feeling grateful for all the spring growth this Earth Day.
Feeling grateful for all the spring growth this Earth Day.

Greetings everyone!

Apologies for the inconsistency of our weekly Monday morning updates. Spring planting has been capturing all of our time and attention. With our Open House & Plant Sale right around the corner (May 3rd!), the GR Farmer's Market starting soon, and the first spring greens ready before you know it, we promise to get our Mondays back on track!

The greenhouse is starting to explode with growth and is filled with so many happy plants. We can't wait for you to visit and see (and smell ;) all this beauty yourselves.

The first blooms are popping! :)

The countdown begins...we are kicking off the plant sale season in 11 days at our

7th Annual Bryndlewood Gardens

Open House & Plant Sale

 Saturday, May 3rd

Come kick off the growing season with us and get a jump start on your garden!

We will have a wonderful variety of vegetable, herb, & flower plants for sale. It's also a great opportunity to check out what and how we are growing on the farm. We will be giving tours and having fun answering all the questions!

If you can't make it to the Plant Sale on Saturday, May 3rd we will be launching our online plant ordering Monday, May 5th. We will have weekly farm pick ups on Wednesdays.

You can also find our plants at the Grand Rapids Farmers' Market every Saturday starting May 10th!

The first tunnel is almost completely planted thanks to our amazing farm crew this season!

Even our mini mes have been pitching in. :)

So far in the ground we have planted chard, kale, kohlrabi, broccoli, onions, and so much lettuce! We've also direct seeded radishes, peas, beans, and carrots.

We are prepping two more tunnels this week and hope to plant tomatoes & peppers next weekend along with lots and lots of cut flowers!

We love watching the progress of each crop. Can't wait for spring lettuce!
