The gardens are almost all pulled and put to bed for winter, but we still have a few cold hardy crops left! Celery & Kale will be available this week for pick up Thursday along with Farm Fresh Eggs.
We planted our celery later than normal this year so it didn't get quite as big (picture above is from last year), but it still has great flavor and perfect for using in soups this time of year. It also freezes really well. Just chop it all up, leaves and all, and throw it in a bag. No blanching or processing necessary!
The kale bunches will also include smaller leaves than previously this summer as we will be harvesting the whole plant! (Not just the larger outer leaves;)
