Welcome to November

It's been almost a month since we posted last. Sorry about that!

October was a crazy whirlwind of events, trips, and a new addition. More on that soon ;)

First off, Happy Halloween! Hope everyone had a fun holiday full of costumes, candy, & fun!

We hosted our 10th annual Bryndlewood Halloween party for friends and family in the Greenhouse. Halloween is extra special for us around here because it marks the anniversary of when Wil and I met. It's been 12 years now!

Earlier in the month, we hosted a Harvest Dinner with The Pines Restaurant and it sure was magical! We had so many amazing friends pitch in to help and pull off an amazing event.

A huge thank you to them and again to Angie's Acres for providing fantastic meats, Maple Ridge Produce for the beets & squash, Borealis Creamery for the delicious ice cream, Rapids Brewing Co. for the beverages, and McKeon Hugh Roberts for the music.

We look forward to partnering with The Pines again in the future!

The Comet & the Super Moon also aligned with the event to make it extra special!

After the Harvest Dinner I was able to sneak away for a weekend in Grand Marais with friends to learn a new skill. Tapestry weaving! It was a wonderfully calm getaway.

I apologize for not sending out the weekly blog updates with the egg link. Please note that even if the email doesn't go out, egg inventory is still listed every Monday morning!

We've got lots of beautiful eggs available right now.

Lastly, the biggest news of all...we welcomed a new puppy to the farm last Friday!

She's a Golden Retriever and her name is Ember.

We are so in love, soaking in all the snuggles, and are enjoying watching her explore the farm!

Actual farm work is still happening, but definitely slowing down! We have some things still growing, but most of the tunnels are cleared out. We've got a few weeks yet of pulling fences, irrigation, and weed mats. Then the chickens will be moved into their winter homes!

Cheers to fall with winter on the horizon.
